Courtney Ramirez joined the Alliant Insurance Services team in 2006. Her expertise is in the public entity sector with an emphasis in municipalities including local governments and states, pooled risks, education, healthcare, and transit. Courtney’s public entity experience is vast, working with many clients on a national basis. Some of her clients include the State of Montana and State of Texas, the Cities of Austin (TX), Sacramento (CA), Santa Ana (CA) and Oklahoma City (OK), and a number of Transit Agencies and Higher Education/University risks.
Robert Lowe is First Vice President of Alliant’s Public Entity Group and leads the Property and Casualty Practice from Alliant’s Los Angeles office. Robert has over a 20 years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on public entities for over a decade. He works with a number of municipalities, counties, water, wastewater, airports, utilities, seaports and transit agencies. His major assignments include working with California Joint Powers Insurance Authority, California Joint Powers Risk Management Authority, and Association of California Water Agencies JPIA.
Robert Schimke joined the Alliant Insurance Services team in 2016 and is currently a Producer based out of the Sacramento, California office. In his current role, he is working within the Public Entity division of Alliant with Airports & Seaports, Higher Education, Cities, Counties, Special Districts, Water & Utility Entities, and Public JPA’s serving as his main focuses.
Shawn Kraatz has been extensively involved with pension systems for nearly a decade. He developed the first national fiduciary liability program designed for public pension systems. It has been supported by the National Association of State Retirement Administrators (NASRA) and has over 75 public pension systems participating. Shawn has worked with some of the largest pension systems in the country in addition to working with many other state, county, and city plans across the U.S.
