Heather Trahan
Heather Trahan is a Risk Control Manager for Travelers, leading the Public Sector and Commercial Accounts Risk Control team in the Houston and San Antonio/Austin territories. She has been with Travelers for over 10 years and during that time has assisted numerous public entities with evaluating and improving their risk management and safety programs. Heather graduated in 2009 from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Insurance & Risk Management and is passionate about educating others on best practices and management strategies that can help mitigate risk. She has expertise in the areas of Property, General Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Auto, Cyber, & Professional Liability.
Shawn Elliff
Shawn Elliff has over 25 years of safety and risk management experience working for Travelers. He works exclusively with public sector accounts including counties, municipalities, school districts and Indian Nation casinos. He has a degree in Industrial Safety Management from Central Missouri State University. Shawn lives in Lee’s Summit, MO with his wife and two teenage children.
