David Lund

David Lund is an ACTAR-Accredited Accident Reconstructionist based in San Antonio. As a Transportation Consultant, Mr. Lund performs investigations of vehicle and mechanical system failures and provides consulting services and accident reconstructions involving commercial vehicles, passenger vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, recreational vehicles, and pedestrians. These investigations may include photography of the scene, collection of evidence, and determination of an accident’s origin and cause. Mr. Lund’s background includes twelve years as a Texas Peace Officer and Collision Reconstruction Investigator, during which he served as his department’s lead traffic investigator for accidents resulting in catastrophic injuries or death. He has served as an instructor on courses involving collision investigation and reconstruction as well as technical photography. Mr. Lund is recognized as an Advanced Collision Reconstructionist through the Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service. He is also a certified Crash Data Retrieval Technician and a licensed FAA drone pilot.
