LaShell Taylor is a Risk Manager, Safety & Claims at Dallas County Hospital District, where she coordinates as well as, mitigates & reduces risk for the self-insured program covering several lines of coverage. LaShell believes transparency, honesty, and compassion are necessary when supporting her organization and community through the claims process. Tracey Davanport is Vice President of Clinical Operations for Sedgwick. Under managed care, Tracey has responsibility for both the telephonic case management and behavioral health programs. Tracey and her team partner with clients and claims adjusters to facilitate medical recovery, expedite return to work and mitigate financial exposure through cost containment. Tracey has 24 years of nursing experience in med-surge and orthopedics with a major concentration in workers’ compensation. Prior to joining Sedgwick in 2017, Tracey worked for Argo Group for 17 years in the roles of both telephonic case manager and AVP, managed care. In 1996, Tracey began her workers’ compensation career working for a provider, Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance, as their workers’ compensation coordinator and director of marketing. Tracey has direct clinical experience, as well as workers’ compensation jurisdictional experience in all 50 states. Tracey earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Auburn University and her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Middle Tennessee State University. She received her nursing license from the state of South Carolina. Her certifications include certified case manager (CCM) and certified life care planner (CLCP).
